SunLink(TM) Token Ring Interface/SBus (TRI/S) offers an industry-standardnetwork interface for 4-16 Mbps IEEE 802.5 Token Ring connections.Adhering to this standard, it offers LAN-based connectivity toenvironments that typically lack Ethernet cabling systems. The boardallows hardware jumper configurable speed selection at 4 or 16 Mbps.The TRI/S controller consists of a single-slot (bus master) SBus printedcircuit board assembly, TCP/IP driver software, and network monitoringutilities.
